2024 Project Impact
Through the SHARES Back-to-School Launch program, we will distribute a total of 400 backpacks to two of the most financially disadvantaged schools on the island. Each backpack is carefully curated to contain school materials such as notebooks, pens, and pencils, along with vouchers for books and lunch.

2024 Project Impact
Through the Dr. SAB Health Aid Program, we will provide tangible and non-tangible resources to roughly 150 youth residing in three (3) residential institutions in Grenada, namely, the Bel Air Home for Children and Adolescents, the Father Mallaghan Home for Boys, and the Queen Elizabeth Home for Children.
Dr. SAB Health Aid Program
In the heart of Grenada, the Dr. SAB Health Aid Program is projected to make a significant difference by providing crucial health resources to co-ed youth currently housed in residential institutions (homes/orphanages). We believe that good health is a fundamental right, and every young individual deserves access to essential resources that contribute to their well-being.
The primary purpose of the Dr. SAB Health Aid Program is to bridge the gap in health resources for co-ed youth in residential institutions. We aim to empower these young minds by providing not only the basics of health but also fostering an environment where they can make informed choices about their well-being.
Key components of the program:
- Sanitary Napkins Distribution - Menstrual hygiene is a critical aspect of women's health. The program ensures that young girls in orphanages have access to sanitary napkins, promoting hygiene, comfort, and dignity.t
- Basic Hygienic Essentials - Basic hygiene is foundational to overall health. The program includes the distribution of toiletries such as bathing soap, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, etc.
- Developmental Workshops - Empowerment through knowledge is at the core of our program. We strive to conduct evidenced-based workshops facilitated by trained individuals, creating a safe space for discussions about physical health, mental health, reproductive health, relationships, and informed decision-making.
- Why It Matters - Many youths in residential institutions face unique challenges, and access to health resources should not be one of them. The Dr. SAB Health Aid Program strives to address this disparity, ensuring that these young individuals have the tools they need to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
